Universal Teknik's Utilization of Used Wood Waste into Eco-Products with High Economical Value

Abstract

Universal Teknik is a Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise engaged in the field of processed wood furniture. Universal Teknik produces household furniture in the form of tables, chairs, and even laundry business equipment. Currently, Universal Teknik's product marketing is still carried out traditionally. With the sluggish global economy, Universal Teknik's product marketing has stalled and experienced a decline in turnover. Production wood waste is not optimally utilized and only becomes trash to be discarded. Existing wood waste can still be used to make souvenirs and wall decorations with high economic value. The goal of this activity is to increase the economic value of Universal Teknik's wood waste into high-value Eco Products. The methods we provide include the design and manufacture of Eco Products from wood waste, the use of scroll saw machines for wood products, and MSME marketing training through online facilities. The specific target of this activity is of course to reduce used wood waste by turning it into eco products with high economic value. With this activity, partners can utilize waste into useful and economically valuable products.
